Christmas Yves

Some glamor and a little luck never hurt anyone. I recently received YSL's iconic arty oval ring in turquoise and the Lucky Chyc ring from a special someone and I never want to take either of them off. I love how they are both strong and delicate looking at the same time.

the dog days are over....

Listening to Florence and the machine-dog days are over while driving home after a long day I really hope this Florence lady is right. I miss my favorite people!

velvet

it's baaack.

So i had this velvet phase in jr high. I loved all things velvet and it came in many forms-mostly tanktops. Al-please refrain from calling me the W word.

well just saw this piece from Jcrew's Madwell and have some sort of attraction to it. I can't wait to see it for myself in NY this week. le sigh. Why can't it be the weekend yet?

animals

Lately I been channeling to decorate my new apartment with animals galore. I believe it was spurred from my brilliant house warming gift-a paper mache giraffe head courtesy of my dear friend shirliu.

Long story short I want this now.

functional and timeless, who would not want a gold plated rhino?

Or how about a bird bed? I should change the name of this blog to lover of all things irrelevant.

Laters

Though I understand that not all change is bad, it still feels like the wind is knocked out you whenever it does happen. SF never felt so lonely.

City of Angels

Reeling back back from a luscious vacation in Los Angeles I brought back with me a new found appreciation for my hometown. Though I have to admit I felt like I was cheating on San Francisco. However, I do have to say I loved the laid back cool California style "SO KITSON" that resonated from the many many beautiful people I spotted hitting up LA's trendiest spots. I am in love...I can't get enough.
